The following genealogical events are currently scheduled. This calendar includes Partner Societies that are offering one-day or multiple-day workshops and seminars, as well as national and international conferences. It does not include monthly meetings.

North Texas Genealogy Association’s 2016 Fall Seminar
The North Texas Genealogy Association will present Lisa Louise Cooke at its annual Fall Seminar on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
Topics include:
- Google Tools and Procedures for Solving Family History Mysteries
- Get the Scoop on Your Ancestors with Newspapers
- Tap Into Your Inner Private Eye: 9 Strategies for Finding Living Relatives
- Google Earth for Genealogy
The Seminar will be located at the First United Methodist Church, 909 10th (at Travis), Wichita Falls, Texas. Doors open at 9:00 am and will conclude at 3:30 pm. A light lunch will be included.
